At sunset, the towers turn from dark to golden under the setting sun, just mesmerizing! Some monks walking through the hallway strikes a serene religious feeling. Climbing up the tallest central tower with a steep ladder affords a fantastic panorama view. The reflection in the ponds at sunrise and sunset is just out of the world. The world's longest relief (600 meters long continuously) at the platform depicts the history and culture of Khmer Kingdom. A must-see site in anyone's bucket list.

We went to see the ruins of Angkor Wat at 4.30am and entered through the seldom-visited East Gate. As we walked in half light of the morning heading for lotus ponds crammed with hundreds of tourists who had entered by the west gate we found a space a settled down to watch the sun rise over the central spires of the temple. It was a great experience.

Excellent Tour Highly Reccommend Our private tour with our guide was amazing. We got to cover all the main areas within our limited time frame. Guide was very knowledgable and fun to be around. Hands down awesome tour!
